Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of The US women's Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. The Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze medal on the balance beam. She became one of the few American to be awarded many Olympic medals. She won the gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics and was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Also, she has been part of two gold medal winning world championship teams. Her favorite event is the flooring exercise. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years young. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She hopes to become fashion-forward and increase the line of leotards and socks in the coming years. Fierce is a novel she is working on is due out sometime in the coming year.
